i, too, have been trying to lose some weight i put on, oh, 15 years ago in college. plus, it was compounded by all the weight i put on with baby g. still, no excuses, right? so i read "you on a diet" by my new tv boyfriend dr. oz and put it into practice. the result? 10 lbs (~4.5 kg for you metric system peeps out there) down in the month of january. but, i have NO MOTIVATION to exercise. what i really would like to do is just dance my way to slenderville. i don't like to run. i don't like to bike. i don't like to ski. i like to dance. but, i have set a goal of being able to do a pull-up (yes, 1 pull-up - that's how weak i am) at the end of lent. so the race is on. is that something i can even accomplish in 40 days? we'll see.
